The Salish Summit is a gathering taking place in Coast Salish waters to celebrate and share the teachings about caretaking the tidelands and relationships that are central to Indigenous aquaculture and food sovereignty. This is a keystone event of the Cross-Pacific Indigenous Aquaculture Collaborative Network, and follows on from previous gatherings honoring place-based connections that were hosted over the past few years by communities in Hawai’i, Palau, and British Columbia.
