This project will verify the presence, quantity, and quality of fucoidan in two species of brown seaweed common to Alaska while exploring and comparing seaweed stabilization strategies.
This project will also include market research that will look at fucoidan markets and their standards, while exploring potential fucoidan-based product development in Alaska.
